ReWork – Leading inclusion in a hybrid and remote workplace

Published on Wednesday 27 September 2023

The principles of equality, inclusiveness and fairness are part of the core values of the European Union, and the new and boundaryless hybrid and remote work (HRW) environment has created increased concerns for a host of challenges especially around inclusivity and discrimination.

The Erasmus + programme ReWork aims at providing organisations with the support they need to mitigate these challenges coming from HRW and to support them to future proof their organisations for DEI.

ReWork involves six European partners: IPAG and AFMD in France, UNIR and GISA in Spain, CEFI in Greece, ITKAM in Germany.

The objectives of this project are to:

  1. Develop the DEI competences of individuals with people management responsibilities for HRW;
  2. Develop an attractive and effective training programme and e-learning platform in line with the individual needs and expectations of both individuals with people management responsibilities and those from disadvantaged groups in large organisations and SMEs;
  3. Cater for the needs of individuals with fewer opportunities by taking special care to include in the training program and elearning platform adult learners with fewer opportunities;
  4. Support the competitiveness of large organisations and SMEs since inclusivity matters in the current era of great attrition;
  5. Create modern, committed and professional work environments with the upskilling of professionals and offer ready-tointegrate good practices, methods and tools;
  6. Improve management competences for an inclusive new world of work at local, regional, nations, pan-European and transnational level.

Among other actions, the consortium will organise co-design workshops in each partner country with direct and indirect groups, major stakeholders and people from underrepresented and disadvantaged groups, identifying relevant needs and designing training material.

Take part in the project! The consortium wishes to complete its data collection and improve its understanding of the challenges that people face during remote work. Your answers to this anonymous survey will provide valuable knowledge on the topic and policies implemented by employers to ensure the inclusion of remote workers. The data will be confidential and used only for the purposes of the Erasmus+ programme "REWORK: Leading inclusion in a hybrid and remote workplace"
